Absolute Restorative: Deep breath
Start before you’re ready.
Pranayama, conscious control of the breath, is considered a very advanced practice. Yet new scientific research confirms what yogis have long known: slower and deeper breathing has significant benefits for our physical, emotional and psychological health. The focus of this workshop is to combine pranayama with supported Restorative poses.
Overwhelmed, overworked, and overcommitted, many of us don’t need more of anything, except space to take a deep breath. Join Lizzie Lasater on Sunday 29.10 to make space for introspection and integration.
All levels. Please bring an eye cover, your notebook, and dress warmly. Theory and practice taught in english, questions welcome auf Deutsch.

Finding Silence: Restorative Yoga Workshop & Teacher Training Level 1 with Lizzie Lasater

To teach Restorative yoga we must first learn to practice Restorative yoga.
In Restorative yoga we discover the secret to going slow, paying attention, and being still. In Restorative yoga we practice deep rest and listen to the rhythm of our own hearts. In Restorative yoga we emphasize “being” rather than “doing.” Our bodies know how to relax. Our bodies know how to heal themselves. Restorative yoga is about giving our bodies time and creating the conditions for relaxation and healing to occur.
In this training you will learn straightforward techniques for teaching introversion and stillness. You will gain the ability to offer your students ways to soothe their overstimulated sympathetic nervous systems and find relief from the stress of their busy lives. Paradoxically, by giving your students the gift of intense rest, they will discover more energy for family, work and creativity.
Open to yoga teachers and serious students from all styles. A certificate is available from Lizzie when you attend all three sessions (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and complete a digital course and written project after the course. Here’s a link about certification: http://www.lizzielasater.com/level1
